Sintered Laminates

This page contains information on two available sintered laminate products:

POROPLATE® LAMINATES
These are multilayer composites of selected wire cloths, perforated sheets and fiber metal felts permanently bonded together through a  proprietary diffusion bonding process.  The material that results has far greater strength, abrasion resistance and filtration characteristics than can be obtained from a single layer of fine mesh.

Purolator invented Poroplate® laminates and has been manufacturing this material for over 30 years.  This experience enables us to supply standard and custom products to users worldwide.

	Purolator's original 5-layer Poroplate is constructed from layers of selected woven wire cloth, repeatedly calendered and diffusion bonded to form a single monolithic material.
